1969年、先代である父がジュエリー工房を創業しました。
ブランド名「2146」は、当時大きな支持を得たデザインネックレスの品番に由来しています。それは単なる番号ではなく、技術と美意識が結実したひとつの記憶でもあります。
そのデザインネックレスに用いられているのは、私たちが「ウィスパーチェーン」と呼ぶチェーンです。
無垢の地金のカンを曲げて連結させ、コマを複雑に編み込んで作られる日本製のチェーン。その繊細で軽やかな佇まいが、まるで囁くように感じられることから、そう名付けました。
ウィスパーチェーンは古くから存在するチェーン構造のひとつですが、現在この仕様のチェーンを取り扱っているのは私たちのみとなっています。
このチェーンを基盤に、職人の手仕事によって精巧な加工を施したネックレスは、多くのジュエリーメーカーに支持され高い評価を受けてきました。
その技術を受け継ぎ、現代表が2007年に当工房を設立。
ジュエリーメーカーや著名スタイリストのOEMをはじめ、顧客へのオーダーメイドジュエリーの制作も行い、確かな技術を積み重ねてきました。
デザインアーカイブは11,000種類以上。私たちのジュエリーは、ネックレス、ピアス、ブレスレットを中心に、使用する貴金属は創業当時から変わらず「K18」と「Pt」に特化しています。
それは単に美しさを追求するためだけではありません。
ジュエリーは身に着ける人と人生を共にし、大切な人へと受け継がれていくものだと私たちは考えているからです。
「2146」という名前には、私が父から技術を受け継いだように、お客様の記憶や想いもまた未来へと繋がっていくようにという願いが込められています。
Our Story
2146
In 1969, our founder established a jewelry atelier.
The name 「2146」originates from the product number of a necklace that once received wide recognition.
It is not merely a number, but a memory where technique and aesthetic came into form.
At the core of that necklace is what we call the 「Whisper Chain.」
Crafted in Japan from solid metal links, each ring is bent, joined, and intricately woven by hand.
Its delicate, weightless presence feels almost like a whisper—thus, its name.
While this structure has existed for many years,
today, we are the only ones who continue to work with it.
Built upon this foundation, our pieces are finished by hand with precision,
and have long been trusted and valued by jewelry makers and stylists alike.
In 2007, the current atelier was established, carrying this craftsmanship forward.
Through OEM production and bespoke creations, we have continued to refine our work.
Our design archive now exceeds 11,000 variations.
We remain devoted to K18 gold and platinum—materials chosen since the beginning.
This is not only for beauty.
We believe jewelry lives with the wearer,
and is eventually passed on to someone else.
The name 「2146」reflects this continuity— as craftsmanship is inherited,
so too are memories and meaning.
